Run this boundary test using the same calculator, birthplace, and zodiac setting:

  1. Calculate the chart at 12:01 a.m. on the recorded birth date.
  2. Calculate it again at 11:59 p.m. on that date.
  3. If the Moon is in the same sign at both endpoints, record that sign and mark the degree as time-dependent.
  4. If the two results show neighboring signs, record both possibilities. The Moon changed sign during that local date.
  5. If the tool supplies the sign-change time, compare it with any reliable birth-time window. Otherwise, locate a more precise record or verify with an ephemeris.
